Split-screen multitasking in Android Nougat update One of the biggest additions to Android is the ability to use two apps at once in a new split-screen multitasking view. Tap the overview button and drag the app you want to use to the top of the screen, then choose a second app to run beneath it. The windows are resizable too. https://media.giphy.com/media/3oz8xQfuJgtCraF1RK/giphy.gif

There's a nifty feature in Android 6.0 Marshmallow called "Now on Tap" that not a lot of people know about or use. When you press and hold down on the home button (the circle icon), Now on Tap activates and essentially does a Google search of the screen, scanning for relevant information to serve up like website links, directions to places, options to share to social networks, etc. It's the future of Google search for apps, but it isn't exactly super useful and doesn't always work well.

It's already known that #Google restructured its business with #Alphabet as its parent company of all of those smaller companies. Don't worry, you won't notice any changes ... at least for now. At its most basic level, Google just renamed itself #Alphabet and created a subsidiary business called #Google. The new Google will continue as the consumer-facing brand and will run all the products you've heard of, including search, Android, YouTube, Maps and Google Apps.
